Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is an Afghani female born to an Russian father and an Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Her parents are Russian and Indian. At the age of 11 she choreographed and performed a dance that earned her the honor of a German TV appearance. Her performance included a snow maiden from Russia who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. After high school, she graduated and was awarded a bachelor's degree in English in New York. She studied comedy and improvisation in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was born to the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. When she was just 13 her parents divorced. Her father moved the family to East Meadow New York. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable television performance. The actress has a regular part in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
