Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza was born in the year 1976 by a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother. She has been a well-known actress on television. De La Garza's parents were from Ireland and Mexico. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December, 1976. She moved to Texas to pursue the career of a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in local independent films as well as global commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from finding out that she loved acting. Then she moved to New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. Through the early part of 2000 she appeared in minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was in the 2004 short-lived television drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The character she's most remembered for was the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. Her character was later seen on the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. Her character received several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, De La Garza won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time after. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko as the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. She played her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. After two episodes the series was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was very traditional and spiritual one. Milano was only seven years old young when her babysitter drove Milano to a talent show. The audition was attended by four girls from more than a thousand aspirants. Milano appeared in advertisements both on Broadway and television as well, such as the American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
